Nearly 200 friends, family, and supporters gathered at The Club at Savannah Harbor on Friday for the 6th Annual Kevin Frawley Foundation Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Golf Tournament.
Frawley was 31 years old when he lost his battle with acute myeloid?leukemia.
He touched many lives, including those who worked with him at Gulfstream.
Fawley's sister says it means a lot to the family that so many continue to come out to show support for her brother and those suffering from leukemia.
"It means the world," said Megan Hoof, Frawley's sister. "It's everything because these are the people that mattered to my brother. This is something he would absolutely want to see because he fought so hard and strong for so long against this disease. We would like to be able to do anything we can to save other families from going through the same thing."
Organizers hope to raise $15,000 this year. Over the past six years, they have raised over $55,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
